The New Year?

For nothing seems

To be changed

The same terror

On the human face

Burning hearts

And empty heads

No hope, No dreams, No future

Child labourers

Will it ever end?

Dowry and Rape deaths

Girl child still in pain

Fighting for her identity

We pray to God

We should be ashamed

Rich and Poor faces

Of mankind

One lives in a fantasy

While others fight to survive

Caste, Religion, Human fights

Terrorist and Corruption

Every year on a new rise

Should I welcome the New Year?

For nothing seems to be changed
